Let’s face it – onboard amenities have long been stuck in a rut: flimsy blankets, limited storage, and uninspiring designs that leave you wondering, Who created this?
But an exciting new collaboration between JPA Design, the award-winning design studio, and Plane Talking Products (PTP), a leading airline supplier, is flipping that script. Their newly-unveiled range of inflight products bring sustainable, sleek, and human-centred design to aircraft cabins, where it’s long been overdue.
These innovative new products champion reduced plastic packaging waste while delivering thoughtfully designed amenities that enhance the passenger experience. Highlights include:
- Premium Economy Blanket: No more desperately fishing your phone out from between the seats. This cleverly designed, unwrappable blanket attaches neatly to the seat’s backrest and features internal pockets to securely store pillows and personal items like smartphones.
- Business Class Mattress: A plush, unwrappable mattress that connects effortlessly to the seat’s dress cover via magnets, creating a stable and luxurious sleeping surface.
