This October, The Savoy, London’s legendary luxury hotel, celebrates 135 years of iconic history. To commemorate this milestone, the hotel is unveiling a series of exclusive initiatives, including a limited-edition cocktail book, exclusive masterclasses, and personal stories from the luminaries who have shaped its legacy.

The Savoy has long been a global symbol of celebration and originality, home to the world-renowned American Bar and Beaufort Bar. Known for signature serves like the White Lady and Hanky Panky, these bars remain central to the cocktail culture, thanks to historical figures like legendary Head Bartender Henry Craddock.

Reflecting on The Savoy’s legacy, managing director Franck Arnold said: “We take immense pride in being London’s original luxury hotel, continually elevating our guest experience while investing in new offerings. Our upcoming November launch of a new dining destination, followed by the reopening of Simpson’s in the Strand in 2025, signals our ongoing commitment to hospitality excellence.”

As London’s first purpose-built luxury hotel, The Savoy has hosted illustrious guests including royalty, Hollywood stars, and modern icons. Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip had their first public appearance here, and cultural legends like Frank Sinatra and Rihanna have graced its halls.
