Hilton has launched Hilton for Business, a digital programme that aims to simplify the travel management experience for SMEs.
The global programme offers members a set of tools to help with the travel booking experience, as well as rewarding SMEs for their loyalty, with discounts and Hilton Honors benefits around the world.
Hilton’s recent 2024 Trends Report found that 80 per cent of global travellers agree it’s important to be able to book their entire trip online, but according to Hilton 75 per cent of SME business customers book their own business trips and manage their own travel in-house, without outsourcing.
Chris Silcock, president, global brands and commercial services, Hilton said the group had listened to its customers including “our small- and medium-sized business customers who have been looking for a travel platform – and loyalty benefits – that meets their unique set of needs and reduces friction points, from booking to billing.”
Companies that enroll in Hilton for Business will receive 7,500 Hilton Honors Bonus Points after any programme member completes their first hotel stay.
Other benefits include: portfolio-wide discounts, rewards for businesses and their employees with Hilton Honors, easy registration with digital keys as individual travellers able to create separate profiles within their own Hilton Honors accounts, and programme management offering business owners full control, as well as the ability to track historical and upcoming spend.
The programme also offers Milestone Bonuses for every 10 nights stayed on the Hilton for Business rate and SMEs can earn 5,000 Hilton Honors points.
However, all multiple room reservations under this scheme are treated as one room only, so to fully benefit from Milestone Bonuses members of Hilton for Business will have to book individual reservations under the Business profile.
