Marking Park Hyatt’s long-awaited UK debut, the Park Hyatt London River Thames opened in late 2024 in the regenerated riverside district of Nine Elms.
Owned and operated by Hyatt Hotels in partnership with R&F UK, the hotel occupies the first 18 floors of a sleek glass tower designed by KPF, with the upper levels reserved for branded residences. It’s a bold architectural statement – rhythmic vertical frames, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a lobby crowned by Charlie Whinney’s sculptural “Ebb and Flow,” inspired by the Thames itself.
Inside, the hotel offers 203 rooms, including 34 suites, two Ambassador Suites, and a Presidential Suite. Interiors by Super Potato blend muted palettes with warming brass and leather accents, while bespoke headboards by ALMA add texture and acoustic softness. Rooms feature marble bathrooms with walk-in showers, freestanding tubs, and Japanese-style smart toilets. Amenities include Nespresso machines, minibars, blackout curtains, and complimentary toiletries. VIP floors offer private lift access and panoramic views that stretch from Battersea Power Station to Big Ben and the Shard.
Dining is a multi-sensory affair. The Nine Elms Kitchen & Terrace serves modern European plates in an open-kitchen setting, while Yú Gé offers refined Cantonese cuisine. TAMISé Wine Library and Tea Lounge pairs river views with curated vintages and afternoon tea. The Nine Elms Bar & Lounge, inspired by the nearby flower market, features 500 tulip-shaped bulbs and a cocktail list that spans 17 tequilas.
The dedicated wellness floor includes a 20x8m indoor pool, six treatment rooms, sauna, riverside relaxation lounge, and Somadome meditation pods. The gym, with Technogym equipment and double-height windows, rivals any in the city.
Events are a core strength. The hotel boasts 1,332 square metres of meeting space, including one of central London’s largest ballrooms (800+ capacity), seven breakout rooms, and a mezzanine floor with flexible layouts. Whether hosting a corporate summit or an intimate wedding, the spaces are supported by high-spec AV, natural light, and a seasoned planning team.
Guests range from international business travellers to couples seeking a refined city stay. High season peaks in spring, summer, and autumn, with shoulder months offering quieter luxury. The location just steps from Vauxhall and Nine Elms stations, places Tate Britain, Battersea Park, and Westminster within easy reach.
And the views? They’re arguably among London’s finest. From the higher floors, the Thames curves like a silver ribbon beneath a skyline punctuated by icons. Is it the best view in London? That depends on your vantage point – but few hotels frame the city with such cinematic clarity.
