From sunrise yoga in Dubai to herbal rituals in Bali and healing hikes in Oman, Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts is celebrating Global Wellness Day on 14th June with a series of soulful, location-inspired experiences designed to reconnect guests with themselves and the world around them.

Spanning ten countries and 15 destinations, Jumeirah’s Global Wellness Day programme brings its Talise Spa philosophy to life – blending movement, mindfulness and cultural traditions to foster presence and wellbeing. The initiative embraces this year’s #ReconnectMagenta theme, encouraging travellers to reset their focus, reawaken their senses and embrace conscious living.

A connected journey across the globe

In the UAE, guests can expect everything from somatic yoga at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab to beachside breathwork and marine conservation tours at Burj Al Arab. At Jumeirah Beach Hotel, cold plunges and kids yoga sessions join wellness consultations and family-friendly activities, while Madinat Jumeirah offers guided ecology walks and sound healing beneath the stars. On Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, the day unfolds with sunrise meditations, a wellness breakfast bar and personalised fitness diagnostics.

Elsewhere in the Gulf, Jumeirah Muscat Bay in Oman blends mobility classes with nature hikes and sunset yoga, while Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain focuses on sound healing and hands-on skincare workshops. At Jumeirah Messilah Beach in Kuwait, guests are invited to reflect with Pilates and journaling by the shore.

Europe’s holistic hideaways

In Italy, Jumeirah Capri Palace offers signature therapies and poolside yoga, led by the Capri Medical Spa team. At Jumeirah Port Soller in Mallorca, guests welcome the day with Hatha yoga and guided meditation facing the Serra de Tramuntana mountains. In London, Jumeirah Carlton Tower brings together scent, movement and guided mindfulness with a sensory workshop hosted by GROUND, followed by a Sanctum workout overlooking Cadogan Gardens.

Asia’s wellness rituals

Jumeirah Bali delivers a deeply spiritual offering, from sacred beach blessings and Tao-inspired longevity talks to herbal tea ceremonies and Yin-Yang yoga. On Jumeirah Olhahali Island in the Maldives, sunrise runs and voice alchemy sessions align with guided spa rituals for a full-day immersion. In China, Jumeirah Guangzhou and Jumeirah Nanjingmerge ancient and modern wellness with tai chi-style Eight Trigrams Boxing, collagen treatments, and meditative yoga.

A philosophy of presence

“Talise is more than a spa – it’s a commitment to intentional, conscious wellbeing,” says Jumeirah. “Our Global Wellness Day activations are rooted in each destination’s natural rhythm and cultural richness, offering guests a meaningful opportunity to pause, reset and reconnect.”

Whether stepping into sound healing in Bahrain, cycling past temples in Kyoto or sipping medicinal tea in Bali, Jumeirah’s guests are invited to experience wellness through the lens of place, purpose and presence.
