Hilton announce the signing of DoubleTree by Hilton Madrid Principe de Vergara following a franchise agreement with Key International.
The property is expected to open in late 2026 and will be located in Madrid´s affluent Salamanca neighbourhood. The new hotel will be managed by Panoram Hotel Management, a leading multi-brand hotel management company in Spain.
Carlos Miró, managing director, development, Spain and Portugal, Hilton, said, “Spain continues to be a key market for Hilton and we are thrilled to expand our footprint further in the capital with the signing of DoubleTree by Hilton Madrid Principe de Vergara. With a prime location in the Salamanca neighbourhood, this new hotel will be an exciting addition to Hilton´s growing Spain portfolio, which has more than doubled in the last five years. Momentum also continues to grow for our full-service DoubleTree by Hilton brand in Europe, which now has almost 180 trading and pipeline properties across the continent.”
DoubleTree by Hilton Madrid Principe de Vergara will feature 155 guest rooms, including king, queen, twin, single rooms, and suites. The hotel will also offer a bar, restaurant, fitness centre and 14 meeting rooms, providing added convenience for business travellers.
As one of Madrid´s most popular neighbourhoods, Salamanca is known for its elegant residences, high-end restaurants and luxury shopping areas. The hotel is also close to many of Madrid´s most iconic landmarks, such as the Auditorio Nacional de Música, Plaza de Cibeles, Prado Museum, and Retiro Park, which are all within a 10 minute drive. Adolfo Suarez Madrid Barajas Airport is just a 15 minute drive from the property.
